Energy Effeciency Project

More Light Less Energy

The CATHE Center is housed in a building that goes back to the early 1900's, It is an old building. The goal of the CATHE Energy Effeciency Project(CEEP), is to improve our building. We will use the experience as documented in this video web documentary as a model for others as they face similar challenges. Our plan is to use the web to document the science, technology and choices we faced in converting our building to a more comfortable, economical, and energy effecient home for our Non Profit Organization. Energy effeciency allows us to use our funds for arts and technology programing that helps our community. Right now we are using many of those funds to generate green house gasses that warm the planet and contribute to international conflict to get energy from foreign sources. Making our building energy effecient will help our programs, help our community, help our nation, help our planet. It makes sense to make our building as effecient as we can. Changing the world is hard, changing a light bulb is easy.
