The Mentor Integrated Tutoring Program is a group-based after school tutoring and homework assistance program for students in grades 5 through 8. After school tutoring and mentoring programs can make a huge difference in the lives of children who are struggling to keep up with their homework, math skills, reading skills, test taking skills, as well as their social skills. After school programs can give students the confidence, increase their self-esteem and enhance their ability to become lifelong learners. The group-based program meets on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 3:00-5:30 p.m. Pre-registration is required and students may sign up for either one or two days per week. Program capacity is 12 students per day. The cost for our group based tutoring program is $50.00 per month (1 time weekly) or $90.00 per month (2 times weekly). You may sign up at any time.

M.I.T also offers individual academic tutoring for students of all grade levels for reading, math and science by certified teacher/tutors. Days and times will be set up with each student and tutor. The cost for private tutoring is $35.00.

Individual Tutoring is available during the Summer Months!

M.I.T. Is located in the Green Room in the lower level of the CATHE Center (125 East State Street) Entrance on Perkins Street.
